As additional relief measures, the Albanian Government (Normative Act No.18 date 23.04.2020) has postponed or canceled the payments of income taxes as follows:
- The payments of corporate income taxes for Q2 and Q3 2020 for companies with the turnover above 14,000,000 ALL will be rescheduled in the period April – September 2021, for companies with activities in call center and fason production 2020 corporate income taxes payments will be rescheduled in the period April – December 2021. This relief measure will not be applied for companies that are engaged in activities of banking, telecommunication, and wholesale or retail of products such as pharmaceutical, groceries and fruits and vegetables.
- The payment of corporate income taxes for 2020 for companies with the turnover below 14,000,000 ALL will not be paid.
In addition, filing of 2019 personal income taxes is extended up to July 31, 2020.
