Second Financial Package
The Albanian Government has presented a second Financial Package of $ 220 million on 13 April 2020 in attempt to help the economy. The second financial package consists of:
- $ 150 million as a sovereign guarantee for clothing factories, manufacturers, and companies operating in tourism.
- $ 70 million financial aid as a one time direct payment (ALL 40,000 per each employee) for the following categories:
100 000 employees in small businesses that were not included in the first financial package
66 000 employees of large businesses that have temporarily ceased their activity
10 000 employees in tourism
